Activities Management System

Dear Parents & Guardians,

Welcome to the upcoming athletic season! To keep our student-athletes safe, organized, and compliant, our school is using Rank One for all athletic forms, physicals, paperwork, scheduling, and team communication. Before your student can participate in tryouts, practices, or games, parents/guardians must create an account and submit the required electronic forms.

What You Need to Do:

Click on the Rank One link and download the app on your phone.
Follow the instructions to create your parent account and add your student.
Link Your Student: Search for your student-athlete using their legal last name and Student ID number.
Select the sport(s) in which your child plans to participate
Complete Required Forms: Read form content and digitally sign required forms (e.g., emergency contacts, medical history, waivers).

Rank One Requirements

To set up your Rank One profile, follow the instructions above. All required Rank One forms must be submitted and approved before the first day of tryouts:

Freshmen and juniors: Current athletic physical
Sophomores and seniors: Interim Questionnaire
Athletics Media and Information Release
Athletics Participation Form

Concussion baseline testing will be scheduled separately by each team.

Dual-Enrolled and Transfer Students

Dual-enrolled student-athletes must email the athletic director to have their Rank One profile created.
All dual-enrolled and transfer student-athletes must have the required paperwork submitted to and approved by the IHSAA before competing.
Please notify your coach that you are dual-enrolled or a transfer student, and email the athletic director to begin the paperwork process.

Deadline: All forms must be completed and approved by the school prior to student participation (Fall - Aug 10th; Winter - Nov. 2nd; Spring - Feb. 26th). Students with incomplete paperwork will not be permitted to participate.

Note: Freshmen and Juniors will need to upload recent physicals. Physicals should be preloaded in the system for Sophomores and Seniors who had a physical on file last year.

Reach out to the school you are designated to compete for and meet with the AD or representative. They will create a Rank One login for parents to use. In addition, the IHSAA may require additional paperwork. This will be provided by the AD or representative at your school.

ASB CARDS

If a VHS student plans to attend athletic events or school dances, they can save money in the long run by purchasing a Vallivue High School Associated Student Body card (ASB card).

ALL STUDENTS INVOLVED with extra-curricular and co-curricular activities are required to purchase an ASB card to participate in athletics/activities.
The cost of a student ASB card is $40.
Purchase VHS ASB cards through the Infinite Campus Portal or at the bookkeeping window during hours of operation listed below.
Disclaimer: ASB card purchases will NOT be refunded provided a minimum of 6 home events occur throughout the entire school year.

Season Passes for Families

Sport Passes for the school year are available for purchase.

Please print and complete the Family Pass Form and turn in with payment at the bookkeeping window during hours of operation listed below, or at the ticket gate of any VHS athletic event.
Disclaimer: In the event of any cancellations, refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Athletic Eligibility Requirements

In order to participate on any Vallivue High School athletic team, a student must:

Be in school the semester immediately preceding the season.
Have received credit in five subjects the preceding semester.
Have a physical form signed by a medical doctor on file in the office prior to any practice.
Have proof of private insurance or purchase school athletic injury insurance or fill out waiver of insurance.
Pay all necessary fees assessed for the sport.
Purchase an ASB Card, and be a member in good standing of the Associated Student Body of Vallivue High School
Agree to abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the Athletic Department of Vallivue High School as set by the Vallivue School District Policy.
Attend all parent sport meetings pertinent to your child's participation.

Athletic Attendance Requirements (Gameday)

In order to participate on gameday Vallivue High School athletic students must:

School Attendance

Participants must maintain regular attendance and must be in attendance for a full day on each day or practice or competition to participate that day, unless there are extenuating circumstances approved by the Principal &/or Activities Director.

Athletic Physical Examination Requirements

Freshmen, Juniors, and all new Vallivue High School athletes for the 2026-27 school year are required to complete a Medical Physical Examination on the Idaho High School Activities Association Form after May 1, 2026.

Even if a student had a physical their Sophomore year, they still need a new physical as a Junior. This Physical Form must be on file with the VHS Athletic Trainer before a student is allowed to practice. Sophomore (10th) and Senior (12th) grade athletes are required to complete and file an Interim Questionnaire before they are allowed to practice. All forms are available from the VHS Athletic Trainer, Activities Director or in the Main Office.

CONCUSSION INFORMATION

Legislation has required that we inform parents and participants on the latest concussion updates and information. Please click on Concussion Information.

All coaches are required to be certified on recognizing concussions and coaches will re-certify every other year - All athletes in contact sports will be participating in a baseline concussion evaluation with our athletic trainer.

Vallivue High School Seasonal Sport Parent Meetings
These meetings are mandatory for the latest district and sports information. If you do not participate your child will not be able to compete.

Fall Sports Parent Meeting - Thursday, August 13, 2026 in the VHS Auditorium

5:30–6:30 p.m.
Cross Country, Girls Soccer, Boys Soccer, Cheer, and Girls Golf
6:45–7:45 p.m.
Football, Volleyball, and Boys Golf
A brief presentation will cover important roles and need-to-know information for a successful athletic experience.
Sport-specific head coaches will hold meetings immediately following the large-group presentation.
Attendance is required for all fall student-athletes, their parents/guardians, and coaches participating in Football, Soccer, Volleyball, Cross Country, Golf, or Cheer.
